Licensed Independent Social Worker

Mary Stewart is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) who attended Bowling Green State University to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Social Work degree, as well as, The University of Cincinnati to obtain a Master’s of Social Work degree. Throughout her college careers, she worked with children from all different ages and backgrounds which grew her passions for building resilient, compassionate kids that can overcome any obstacle. After graduation, she worked with clients, ages 5-21, with diagnoses such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and many others. Mary works to implement client and strength-based models into her sessions in order to meet the needs of the client and family. She utilizes modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Psychoeducation, Mindfulness, and others to enhance the client’s abilities to manage their diagnosis. She strives to build a safe, judgement-free environment suitable for clients to meet their personal and professional goals. In her free-time, Mary enjoys spending time with friends and family, drinking coffee, and taking her dogs to the park.
